Association of United States Army (AUSA) Fourth Region Announces Award to Army Scholarship Foundation for Support of Army Families



The Association of the United States Army Fourth Region announced today an award to the Army Scholarship Foundation for its work in supporting Army families. The leadership of the Fourth Region deemed this work to be "particularly significant and noteworthy."

This award was presented as one of the regional awards during the annual meeting of the AUSA held in Washington, DC. The Fourth Region of the AUSA encompasses all AUSA chapters in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

The Army Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2001 by concerned Army veterans who desired to continue their service to the Nation and to support and assist families of Army soldiers. The Army Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of US Army soldiers and Army veterans, as well as to spouses of serving active duty enlisted soldiers.
